P93. Inflammatory Markers in Type 2 Diabetes and Cognitive Impairment: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) are at increased risk of cognitive impairment and dementia, and systemic inflammation may be a common factor. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to summarize clinical data regarding peripheral blood inflammatory markers in people with T2DM who have cognitive impairment (i.e., mild or vascular cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease) vs normal cognition.
