Measurement and Modeling of Indoor Near-Ground Propagation at 28 GHz
2021 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT)(2021)
摘要
This paper presents and analyzes the results of millimeter-wave (mmWave) 28 GHz frequency range near-ground propagation measurements that are conducted in indoor office and indoor corridor environments. The measurements are performed with different antenna heights varying from 23.5 cm to 3.5 cm above the ground. The measurement results are compared with ray-tracing simulations showing good consistency. Several existing well-known empirical path loss models are compared and analyzed. Good prediction accuracy is observed, with an overall root mean square error (RMSE) within 4.9 dB. The measured data as well as the validated mmWave path loss models can be used to support indoor near-ground networks planning and deployment.
