摘要

•New polyacrylonitrile membranes containing GO and GO-safranin were synthesized.•GO-SF modified the permeance, morphological and chemical features of hPAN membrane.•hPAN@GO-SF membrane demonstrates high water flux.•hPAN@GO-SF exhibits high efficiency in removing multiple contaminants in water.•The cation exchange, electrostatic and π-π interactions govern the process.
