摘要
•First report on exopolysaccharide production in marine Echinicola sediminis BBL-M-12.•6.18 g L–1 of EPS was produced using lignocellulosic hydrolysate as a carbon source.•EPS was mainly composed of β-D-Glucopyranose, β-D-Galactopyranose & β-D-Xylopyranose.•EPS was able to remove textile dye, heavy metal, humic acid & suspended particles.
