Coherent Regeneration ofKS'sby Carbon as a Test of Regge-Pole-Exchange Theory

A measurement of the coherent regeneration amplitude in carbon in the energy range 30-130 GeV is presented. The results are consistent with the dominance of this process by $\ensuremath{\omega}$ exchange, and a precise value of the intercept of the $\ensuremath{\omega}$ trajectory is obtained: ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{\ensuremath{\omega}}(0)=0.390\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.014$.
