•Chain stitching of dual-type organosilica is proposed for the first time.•The influence of the thermal diffusivity has been reported.•Thermal-driven conditions have a great influence on membrane network tailoring.•Calcine in nitrogen at low temperature is benefit for the separation of CO2/CH4.•Calcine in nitrogen at high temperature is benefit for the separation of H2/C2H6.
