Simulation of the evaporation/boiling transition for the vaporization of a bi-component droplet under wide-temperature environments

•A multi-component vaporization model with evaporation and boiling is established.•The vaporization of a bi-component droplet under wide temperature is simulated.•The model includes the bubble behaviors and heat conduction between bubble-liquid.•The transition between evaporation and boiling can be satisfactorily predicted.•The model can well reproduce the fluctuation of the droplet size in the boiling stage.
