Complicated Grief, PTSD, and PTG in Bereaved Family: Moderating Effect of Resilience and Family Support
JOURNAL OF LOSS & TRAUMA(2023)
摘要
Despite the well-known negative ripple effect of the death of a loved one on the bereaved family, there is a lack of research that empirically examines the relationship between bereavement experience and the psychological adaptation process of the bereaved. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the relationship between complicated grief, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and posttraumatic growth (PTG) in the bereaved family. The results revealed that PTG of the bereaved could be promoted more effectively by an integrated intervention to promote personal competencies for resilience accompanied by strong family support compared to separate interventions of resilience and family support.
