The Imaging Prevalence of the Plantaris Muscle in the Adult Croatian Population

Purpose or Learning Objective: To determine the imaging prevalence of the plantaris muscle in the adult Croatian population due to the wide possibility of its use as a graft in reconstructive surgery. The plantaris tendon is a well-known and accessible graft and has excellent biomechanical properties for various reconstructive procedures, such as the reconstruction of the coracoclavicular ligaments, digital flexor tendons, lateral ankle ligaments, Achilles tendon, and for anterolateral ligament reconstruction.
