摘要
•Bi2WO6 with surface tungsten and oxygen vacancies were synthesized.•Vacancies decrease transfer resistance and increase separation efficiency of charges.•Defective Bi2WO6 shows excellent photocatalytic performance for BPA degradation.•Defective Bi2WO6 exhibits high photocatalytic activity for E. coli inactivation.
