Facile preparation of SnO2/MoS2 nanocomposites with high electrochemical performance for energy storage applications

摘要
•SnO2/MoS2 nanocomposite was synthesized by Sonochemical method.•The crystallite size of SnO2/MoS2 nanocomposites was reduced while increasing the percentage of MoS2.•The FESEM images confirm the spherical morphology of SnO2and flake-like morphology of MoS2.•SnO2/MoS2 (5 wt%) nanocomposite exhibited higher specific capacitance of 146F/g at a current density of 1 A/g.•High specific capacitance of composite is due to the synergetic effect of SnO2 and MoS2.
