摘要

An environmentally benign, one-pot three-component synthesis of 2-(4-oxo-3,4-dihydroquinazolin-2-yl)-N-aryllbenzamides has been developed by reaction of phthalolyl chloride with anilines and anthranilamide in water without any catalyst. The method involves easy workup, provides excellent yields using water as solvent making them a green protocol.
