Pain management after microtia repair with costal cartilage: De-escalation and opioid use reduction

•A simplified pain regimen is effective after microtia reconstruction with rib.•Consider intraoperative intercostal nerve block and weight-based acetaminophen.•Decreased length of stay, narcotic use, and pain are achieved with this regimen.
