摘要

Background

To study the efficacy and complications of 8 mm long needle injection of lauryl alcohol in the treatment of grade I – III internal hemorrhoids with transparent cap-assisted colonoscopy.

Methods

The clinical diagnosis and treatment data of 270 patients with grade I – III internal hemorrhoids treated in the digestive endoscopy center of the second people’s Hospital of Guangdong Province from February 2019 to December 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into 140 cases in the study group and 130 cases in the control group. The patients in the control group were treated with Xiaozhiling injection, and the patients in the study group were treated with a transparent cap assisted by an 8 mm long injection needle under enteroscopy. The treatment effect, clinical symptom score, complications during the operation and one week after the operation and the recurrence of patients followed up for 2–6 months were compared between the two groups.

Results

The total effective rate of the study group was 98.57%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (86.15%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the bleeding volume, defecation pain, daily work and hemorrhoids prolapse score of the study group were (3.98 ± 0.87) score, (4.25± 0.45 ) score, (4.78 ± 0.16) score, (3.27 ± 0.43) score, the score of was significantly higher than that of the control group (2.97 ± 0.68) score, (2.68± 0.95 )score, (2.48± 1.02) score,(2.76±0.72)score, the difference were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the total incidence and recurrence rate of complications in the study group were 4.29% and 0.71%, which were significantly lower than that of the control group (10.77%, 3.85%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).

Conclusions

The transparent cap assisted with an 8 mm long needle injection of lauryl alcohol in the treatment of I – III degree internal hemorrhoids have a significant curative effect and can reduce the incidence of complications and recurrence rate, which has high safety, has clinical application value, and is worthy of promotion.
