摘要
•Sleep reduction is common in Dutch adolescents (33%). Sleep reduction was more apparent in girls (than boys) and older-aged adolescents (than younger-aged adolescents).•Sleep hygiene practices (e.g., caffeine, behavioral arousal, and cognitive/emotional arousal) partly explain differences in sleep health and sleep reduction between different socio-demographic risk groups.
