摘要

•Minoxidil-loaded double emulsion nanoparticles were developed for the treatment of hair loss.•The nanoparticles showed high encapsulation efficiency and prevented aggregation at high concentrations.•The nanoparticles promoted successful hair regrowth in mice without using ethanol and propylene glycol.
