ID:16594 C1/C2 High Cervical Spinal Cord Stimulation in Refractory Facial Pain: A Retrospective, Single-Center Case Series

The prevalence of craniofacial pain has been estimated to be approximately 25%(1). Within this group, Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) and Trigeminal Neuropathy (TNP) are challenging entities to treat(2). C1/C2 High Cervical (C1/C2-HC) stimulation has been used in the management of refractory chronic migraine(3). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of C1/C2-HC stimulation in the management of TN & TNP.
