Details and outcomes of a large cohort of MOG-IgG associated optic neuritis

•Eye pain was present in 89% of optic neurits attacks from MOG-IgG associated disease (MOGAD) and often precedes the vision loss.•Early intravenous methylprednisolone may be associated with expedited recovery and improved visual outcomes from MOGAD optic neuritis.•Some MOGAD optic neuritis attacks can recover spontaneously without treatment.
