Hyperspectral imaging with chemometrics for non-destructive determination of cannabinoids in floral and leaf materials of industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.)

摘要
•Hyperspectral images were acquired from fresh floral and leaf tissues of industrial hemp.•Hyperspectral data could discriminate CBD-rich/-poor, and illegal and legal floral samples.•Quantitative predictions with RPD = 2.5 (R2 = 0.84) were obtained for CBD and THC in floral tissues.•Wavelength selection consistently improved prediction accuracies of all the cannabinoids.•Hyperspectral imaging is a useful tool for non-destructive, rapid testing of industrial hemp.
