One Year Full Volume Follow Up of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms with Transducer Navigation System Assisted Three Dimensional Ultrasound
European journal of vascular and endovascular surgery(2022)
摘要
Introduction: Surveillance of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) is based on the assessment of maximum diameter growth to infer risk of rupture. Diameter growth is an incomplete measure of aneurysmal activity, as one year volume growth has been found in approximately 40% of “diameter stable” AAAs. In a study that assessed the three dimensional geometry of AAAs, based on computed tomography, it has been shown that baseline AAA volume predicts volume growth, while baseline AAA diameter does not predict diameter growth.
