摘要
•A tri-functional nanohybrid with excellent ion/water shielding/ion-exchange and pH-sensitive properties was designed.•Reduced graphene oxide (rG) layered was decorated with Zn-Al-NO3−-LDH (L), and then modified with ZIF-67/ZIF-8 MOFs.•The rGL-Z67/Z8 was loaded with TSP for providing a smart epoxy anti-corrosion system.•Mixed inhibition with a significant degree of inhibition (>90 %) were recorded in the presence of rGL-Z67/Z8 CS.•The scratched TSP-loaded rGL-Z67/Z8 nano-hybrids filled epoxy systems showed long-lasting barrier/self-repairing properties.
