Innovative Optical System for Online Monitoring Sag, Rotation and Ice Accretion in HV Lines

摘要
An innovative optical system has been developed to increase the resilience of the electric grid monitoring sag, rotation and if present ice accretion of overhead power lines. Long duration test of the complete system in an environment close to a real installation and first measurements on snow sleeves have been carried out.
