We and others have demonstrated the feasibility and safety of intracardiac echocardiography (ICE)-guided implantation of the Watchman-FLX left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) device. The current standard of care for ICE-guided LAAC involves pre-procedural planning with TEE or cardiac CT imaging for LAA anatomic assessment.
