摘要
Youth in juvenile correctional centers commonly present with significant behavioral health needs. Girls in custody have a higher prevalence of mental health disorders and internalizing behaviors compared to boys in custody, who have higher rates of violent and externalizing behaviors. DBT focuses on building skills to manage emotions and has been adapted for adolescent forensic populations. This study investigated gender differences in changes in mental health after DBT intervention among youth in a correctional facility.
