摘要

The TWIST score is an accurate diagnostic tool for both ED and urology providers in workup of children with acute scrotal pain, with a normal score essentially ruling out the condition. Future work should aim at minimizing unnecessary testing in patients demonstrated to be at high risk for torsion.
