Predictors of follow-up non-compliance after definitive radiotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer at a community cancer center

•One-third of patients with cervical cancer treated with radiotherapy were not compliant with follow-up after three years.•Financial reasons accounted for more than 20% of the loss of follow-up events.•Younger, non-Hispanic, multiparous women that live far from the hospital are at increased risk of loss of follow-up.•These patients at a higher risk for premature loss of follow-up could benefit from targeted social assistance.
