摘要
Anakinra, an anti-interleukin-1 agent, is a therapeutic option for recurrent pericarditis that is difficult to treat with conventional treatment (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, colchicine, corticosteroids). It is also used in treatment of autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases.1,2 Due to the increasing use of biologic drugs during childbearing age, there is a growing interest in their safety during reproduction and pregnancy.1 However, there are only a few cases reported about the use of ana-kinra during pregnancy, most in rheumatic diseases. We describe the first case report of a woman taking anakinra during both pregnancy and breastfeeding for idiopathic recurrent pericarditis.
