摘要

•In French adults with chronic hepatitis B infection, the most prevalent genotypes were D, E, and A.•Patients were predominantly HBeAg-negative (90.0%).•The seroprevalence of delta hepatitis was 6%.•HBsAg quantification is not useful in identifying patients with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B.•A total of 29.1% of patients were eligible for antiviral treatment.
