摘要

We present a new class of light sources based on semipolar gallium nitride laser diodes. By combining highefficiency blue laser diodes with phosphors, LaserLight white light sources offer 10–100X higher brightness than LEDs and fuse illumination with sensing and communication for the future of lighting.
