Grating dielectric lens for terahertz multibeam

In recent years, terahertz communication has grown rapidly, and the demand for terahertz multipoint communication is also increasing. This paper proposed a grating dielectric lens multi-beam antenna, which can flexibly adjust the beam direction by changing the grating period and height. As a demonstration, terahertz three-beam antenna is simulated and designed at 220 GHz. In the range of the grating period from 0.5um to 2.5um, the side beam from 22 degrees to nearly 90 degrees is controlled. This multibeam lens provides a solution for compact terahertz multibeam emission.
