A mechanistic model in annular flow in microchannel tube for predicting heat transfer coefficient and pressure gradient

摘要
•Experimental results of pressure gradient and heat transfer coefficient of six pure fluids in a microchannel tube are reviewed.•A mechanistic model for predicting HTC in the annular flow pattern is proposed.•The model can predict pressure gradient, void fraction, and heat transfer coefficient.•The model is extended to other flow patterns when the quality is higher than about 0.05.
