摘要

•Sm3-xHoxFe5O12 garnets were obtained by the solid-state reaction and citrate methods.•The Ho3+ substitution allows the obtention of single-phase.•That Ho3+ insertion in the Sm3Fe5O12 ceramic allows its potential applications in antennas and high-frequency devices.
