Biological Energy Harvesting for Autonomous Temperature Sensors

摘要
With this work we propose to use the electrical energy harvested from a single muscle cell, to measure the temperature of the cell and its surroundings. An LTspice simulation is presented in order to investigate the possibility of using the storing capacitor as a temperature sensor, and to communicate wirelessly with a coupled receiver. Finally, preliminary experimental tests are presented on mouse soleus muscle for estimating the amount of electrical energy that can be harvested from a single muscle fiber.
