摘要
Super-resolved localization by fluorescence (such as PALM and STORM) is used to probe static molecular structures below the diffraction limit. Super-resolved localization trades temporal resolution for high spatial resolution, limiting its use for dynamic structures. What is more, approximately localizing static structures across frames necessarily leads to aliasing artifacts, which are known to compromise our ability to achieve single-particle tracking (SPT). The situation is further exacerbated by having molecules transiently overlap in their point spread functions across frames.
