Design of slotted waveguide antenna (SWA) with omni-directional radiation patterns is discussed. The antenna mainly consists of slot doublet radiating element and waveguide to coaxial adapter. In this, slot offset and length are design and optimized using 3D software based on the finite integration method. The resonant and radiation properties of the antennas have been examined. The simulated results are in good agreement with measured results. The gain of the antenna is better than 3.5 dBi over omni beam coverage (i.e., 360°) in azimuth plane. The paper presents the simple method to design a slotted array antenna with omni-directional pattern.
