摘要

•A hollow hexagonal NiFe2O4/GNs absorbing material was successfully prepared by one-step hydrothermal method.•The RLmin of A3 sample is −34.47 dB and its EAB is 3.12 GHz at a coating thickness of 1.3 mm and a frequency of 12.8 GHz.•With hydrothermal temperature increasing, the microstructure gradually changed from round rod to hollow hexagonal prism.
