Increased hemorrhage risk in patients with mild thrombocytopenia at delivery admission

Prior studies examining the potential association between mild thrombocytopenia and the risk of postpartum hemorrhage have had inconsistent findings, and to our knowledge, none have accounted for aspirin use during pregnancy. We sought to assess hemorrhage risk in patients with mild thrombocytopenia adjusting for exposure to antenatal aspirin use.
