314. The Unique Face of Comorbid Anxiety and Depression: Increased Neural Response to Fear Conditioning

Dysregulation of fear learning is a form of threat sensitivity thought to contribute to the development of anxiety disorders (AD) and major depressive disorder (MDD), but few studies have examined the impact of their comorbidity on fear learning. This study used a propensity matched sample of individuals with MDD+AD and MDD to examine the hypothesis that MDD+AD shows greater threat sensitivity during fear learning than MDD.
