摘要
User stories are an increasingly popular textual notation for capturing requirements in agile software development. They describe small system parts oriented to the user and guide developers' daily work. Most users use them in combination with Scrum, but despite their popularity, user stories are often too crude, so misunderstandings or dependencies remain unpredictable. Moreover, research efforts on them are limited since there is no scientific evidence on the effectiveness and validation of user stories. In turn, The International IT Research Firm Standish Group mentions incomplete agile requirements as their main impediment to success. This ongoing research proposes the semantic relationship assessment of an ontology for evaluating the user story's quality. In addition, the authors conducted a qualitative validation of the relationships of the ontology with Software Engineering practitioners. This work's result will help propose an ontology to assess the quality of a user story, and it will guide development teams during the creation, analysis, and development of user stories.
