Virtual Modeling and Parameters Optimization of Six Bar Press Based on ADAMS

In order to improve the performance of the mechanism, a parameter modeling and optimization method based on ADAMS is proposed in this paper. The optimization objective of the press is to minimize the working pressure angle under the same conditions. Because the size parameters and position relationship of the mechanism determine the performance index of the press, this paper first establishes the parametric modeling and optimization design method based on ADAMS, summarizes the parameter variables that have a great impact on the objective function for each parameter variable, and then uses the discretization method to optimize the variables. Through optimization analysis and solution, the optimal parameter value in the mechanism is solved. The optimization results show that the physical prototype of six link mechanism designed based on ADAMS is reasonable and can get the best motion results, which has important reference significance for the research and development of similar prototype.
