摘要
•Various coating structures of non-absorptive coated mineral dust particles during the dust aging process are characterized by a reasonable number of limit tunable parameters.•Sensitivities of the scattering and polarization parameters of non-absorptive coated mineral dust particles at specific scattering angle are studied.•The RRI has a more prominent effect on the scattering matrix elements than the particle morphology, inhomogeneity and size under specified conditions.•The parameterized expressions of P11(π)/ P11(30°) and Pmax with RRI, α, fcoating, and r0 are given.
