Morphological, Dielectric, Electro-Optic and Photoluminescence Properties of Titanium Oxide Nanoparticles Enriched Polymer Stabilized Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Composites

摘要
•Prepared pure, 0.1 and 0.5 wt% TiO2 NPs doped polymer stabilized cholesteric liquid crystal system (PSCLC).•Morphological studies revealed homeotropic alignment achieved at lower voltage in PSCLC system with TiO2 NPs.•Threshold and saturation voltage significantly reduced at lower voltage after doping of TiO2 NPs.•The photoluminescence intensity improved with doping of TiO2 NPs into PSCLC.
