Synthesis of Novel Hybrid Lonidamine-Coumarin Derivatives and Their Anticancer Activities

•Synthesized novel hybrid Lonidamine-Coumarin derivatives by modifying Lonidamine and 7-Hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin via different linkers.•Anticancer activity was determined against MCF-7 and A549 cell lines.•Compounds 2 and 6 were identified as the lead molecules.•All compounds were docked to the active site of HK-II and the binding affinity as well as their physiochemical properties were predicted.
