Drones have greater application potential in many fields, especially in scenes that are not suitable for human detection such as fire and explosion. However, it is challenging to rapidly deploy a multi-UAV system, which is meantime easy to use. In this paper, we developed a remote multi-UAV control system based on WebSocket. The system utilizes commercially available drones and is easy to deploy. Meanwhile, the TCP connections make the system scalable and easy to use. The system is validated with multiple experiments. The results show the feasibility and advantages of the developed system.
