摘要
The state-of-the-art automotive radars are mainly implemented by using linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW). Unfortunately, the widespread use of LFCMW increases mutual interference between automotive radars. Compared with LFMCW, the nonlinear frequency modulated (NLFM) signal has a flexible distribution in the time-frequency two-dimensional plane. These nonlinear fixed time-frequency distributions have a certain potential for solving the mutual interference problem. It is possible to introduce NLFM signals in the current mainstream LFM radar and alternate these two different signals in different situations respectively, thus the mutual interference could be reduced. Therefore, this work firstly designs the NLFM signal with good performance based on Legendre Polynomials, and then analyzes whether there is an interference problem between the NLFM signal and the LFCMW.
