摘要
The knowledge of the electric field distribution in gas insulated lines (GIL) under alternating currents (AC) is essential to ensure a reliable operation of the system. This can be determined by numerical simulation and requires a fast linear solver for the Poisson problem. Utilizing the AmgX library on NVIDIA A100 graphic processing units (GPUs) to solve a Poisson system of linear equations with millions of degrees of freedom enables a solution time up to 0.11 s.
