Association of cognitive impairment and asthma control in older adults

Cognitive impairment (CI) is prevalent in older patients with asthma. The purpose of this study was to identify if CI was associated with poorer asthma control. Higher systemic inflammation, in particular non-T2, has been associated with CI. We therefore also investigated whether there was a relationship between CI, asthma control, and patterns of cytokine inflammation.
