Se reporta formalmente la presencia de Dianema urostriatum (Miranda Ribeiro, 1912), en afluentes del río Putumayo, ampliando de esta forma su distribución geográfica en la cuenca Amazónica. Este registro enriquece la ictiofauna continental peruana.
