Characterization and Modeling of Nonlinear Laser Propagation in Water and Dielectrics

Nonlinear propagation of intense laser pulses in condensed media, including liquid water, is under study in experiments and numerical modeling. Recent simulations reveal previously unknown laser-generated plasma effects on stimulated Raman scattering and four-wave mixing.
