摘要
Abstract A tin disulfide saturable absorber (SA) is prepared by a liquid phase exfoliation method, and it is employed as a 1.3 μm laser modulator for the first time. A stable passively Q-switched (PQS) Nd:Lu0.15Y0.85VO4 1.3 μm laser is successfully realized. Under an absorbed pump power of 6.68 W, the shortest pulse width of 34 ns is obtained, with a repetition rate of 1.18 MHz and a maximum average output power of 0.81 W. To the best of our knowledge, this is the shortest pulse width and the highest repetition rate for a PQS 1.3 μm laser with two-dimensional material SAs.
